The variegated variety, often referred to as Philodendron hederaceum 'Variegata' features leaves with striking patterns of light and dark green, sometimes with creamy white or yellow variegation.​

Native to: This species originates from the rainforests of Central America and the Caribbean, where it thrives as a climbing plant in the understory, attaching itself to tree trunks and larger plants. 

Water: Allow the top third of the potting medium to dry out before watering again. Overwatering can lead to root rot, so it's important to ensure the potting mix is well-draining. ​

Light: Provide bright, indirect light to maintain vibrant colour and encourage healthy growth. Direct sunlight can cause leaf scorching, while insufficient light may slow growth and reduce variegation. ​

Humidity: While it can tolerate average household humidity levels, providing moderate to high humidity is beneficial.  ​
