Every S.Marotta Pottery hanging planter pot is handmade by Stephanie in her studio on Vashon Island, WA. Stephanie has partnered with Deb Widen, a local macrame artisan, to create the beautiful macrame work seen on her planters. Each planter has variations making each piece a unique work of art. All pieces are glazed in a palette of beautiful colors that are sure to find a place in your home or garden. This planter does not have a drain hole so it can be enjoyed indoors or in a sheltered outdoor location. It is suggested that the planter be moved indoors during freezing weather.

All hanging planters are made from either a speckled or dark brown stoneware. After being wheel-thrown, each planter is fired once, glazed and fired a second time in an electric kiln to over 2100 degrees Fahrenheit.
