Each of the species has been enhanced with specialty floral paint in the way that looks best for that particular type of air plant. Juncea, Funckiana and Argentea are expertly painted to mimic their natural coloration, with subtle color added at the tops of their narrow leaves. Abdita and Xerographica are given a more intense treatment, with rich color across the entire leaf surface.
