At a height of 18-22" tall, plant in containers or any sunny to partially-shaded spot with well-drained soil for non-stop blooms from late spring to first frost. Plant with eyes up and cover with 2" of soil. Space bulbs at 12" apart. Once the bulbs have sprouted keep them well watered and fertilize regularly for best performance. Cut spent flower stalks back to encourage new growth. Other than that, Cannasol™ is a disease resistant, self-cleaning, easy care selection that will jazz up your garden with color. A favorite of hummingbirds and butterflies, deer avoid Canna Lilies. Hardy to zone 7, in colder zones grow as annuals or lift the bulbs in fall and store in a cool (above freezing), dark, ventilated space until spring.
