Very Well Draining Soil Mixture for Succulents and Cactus Plants

Organic Succulent and Cactus Soil Mix by Perfect Plants – potting soil for succulents

Comes in a 4 Quart or 8 Quart resealable bag – professionally pre-mixed for your succulent and cactus plants to provide healthy succulent growth.

The cactus dirt is mixed for drainage and aeration to provide the perfect balance of air and moisture while retaining nutrients. This succulent potting mix helps prevent soil compaction and improves the fast draining nature. The succulent mix does not hold moisture water and will enhance beautiful, colorful leaves on your plants.

This succulent soil mix is specially formulate to enhance the dry conditions that succulent plants love while providing room for roots to grow without compacting the soil medium and providing plenty of organic matter. We have perfected this well draining soil.

Soil recipe mix includes — Organic Peat Moss, Composted Pine Bark, Coarse Sand, Part Perlite, and Lime for proper pH.

Perfect for adding to regular potting soil or organic potting soil mixture from the garden center.

TIPS FOR GROWING SUCCULENTS:

  • Succulents prefer full sun.
  • When planting succulents in pots, make sure your container has a drainage hole. Potted succulents need a regular watering schedule too. Pots without a drainage hole are susceptible to root rot.
  • Don’t compact soil too hard when first planting succulents and cacti. This will prevent air from getting through the soil and will make it harder during waterings to drain.
  • Succulent gardens are a fun way to get creative with your plants. This is the best soil for succulents to get you going with your DIY projects. You can even add it to garden soil!
  • Growing succulents outdoors is very different than growing succulents indoors. They require much more water due to the weather. Indoor succulents only need to be watered once or twice a month; alternatively outdoor plants need watering once or twice every two weeks. Get to know your plant. Water when the soil is completely dry, water when needed.
  • Too much water can be absorbed by their fleshy leaves and can harm your plants depending on the type of succulent.

Eufy l50 SES
Style: L50 SES
Works great, easy to setup. It's my second unit for the basement level. Picks up all the fur from a large Rottweiler and a small Rat Terrier.

Not worth it
Style: L50 SES
Worked great for 5 months and then the WiFi connectivity stopped working rendering the vacuum useless. Because it’s refurbished it was past its warranty and the company refused to do anything about it other than offer a discount on a product that cost four times as much even after the discount.

Great vacuum, but it only works on 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi
Style: L50 SES
I missed the last line on the description that states in only works on 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi. I have AT&T fiber and the router they installed only runs on 5.0 GHz. The vacuum still works, but without all of the fancy conveniences. Just be aware of this and if you are not familiar with what it means, check before you purchase one. This is the only reason I am giving it a 4 and not a 5. It is my fault for missing it, so just be aware.

Great vacuum!!
Style: L50 SES
I love this vacuum. I had to work a little to get the map right for it, but it is great. We have allergies and it helps so much and saves so much time. It does take a while to do the whole house, but I have it programmed to run while we are at work and it’s so nice to come home to a freshly vacuumed house.

Eufy dropped the ball on this vacuum
Style: L50 SES
I’ll start by saying the reason I purchased this vacuum, is because I have a Eufy 25c robot vacuum that is very dependable. I decided I wanted an upgrade because the 25C was great for cleaning, but I had to empty it way too often. I just knew I would love the L50 SES. I thought it was just what I was looking for a self emptying robot vacuum with a 60 day fill capacity. Allowing 2 months before I needed to touch my vacuum. Here’s where things went wrong. I never got a chance to test the vacuum because it wouldn’t connect to my WiFi and I tried everything. Now this wouldn’t have been a problem if the L50 came with a remote control like the 25C. Unfortunately I had to rely on the App and since the L50 couldn’t connect to my WiFi, I couldn’t control the vacuum. The reason I gave 2 stars is because the customer service at Eufy is awesome. I was given the option to replace the vacuum with a new one but after researching the L50 i decided to return it for a refund. Apparently this model has a defect, because I found so many negative reviews about the same issue with the same model. The thing is I never read reviews because I have a Eufy smart scale, 25C robot vacuum and an Eufy security system and everything works perfectly. So in the end I purchased a Shark Matrix Self emptying robot vacuum and a Shark self emptying stick vacuum. If Shark’s vacuum preforms well, Eufy might have lost a valued customer. I hope this review helps someone make a informed decision. By the way Eufy self emptying vacuum needs replacement bags and the Shark Matrix robot vacuum doesn’t need bags. I will say the suction and design on the Eufy L50 SES was great.
