Usage Guide (from the manufacturer):
Vegetables and annual flowers: Before seeding or transplanting, spread 2 cups per 100 linear feet and work into the soil. Six to eight weeks later, side dress with 3 cups per 100 linear feet or 1 tablespoon per plant.
Perennial flowers and bulbs: When planting, add a teaspoon to the bottom of the hole, and work into the soil. For established plants, apply approximately 2 cups per 100 linear feet when spring growth appears.
Trees, shrubs and fruit trees: For mature trees, add approximately 1/3 cup per foot of height in early spring. For new trees or shrubs, spread half the recommended amount in the transplant hole, and work into the soil. After planting, spread an equal amount around the base and water well.
Berries: Strawberries and Raspberries: Apply in spring 5 cups per 100 foot row. Blueberries: Apply in spring ¼ to ½ cup per plant. For new planting, apply half this amount.
Containers: Before planting, add 1 cup per 40 quarts of soil. Mix well. Side dress 6 weeks later with 1 tablespoon per plant.
