📜 Origin & short history of Laniata Albo

Monstera adansonii sp. Laniata Albo Variegata is a rare tropical plant native to the rainforests of Central America. It is part of the large Araceae family, just like the famous Monstera deliciosa . Its Laniata version is distinguished by more elongated and smoother leaves, while the variegata albo adds that spectacular touch of creamy white. In the wild, it climbs trees using aerial roots, seeking filtered light.

👁️ A spectacular and graphic plant

Monstera adansonii Laniata Albo is recognizable by its large, oval, finely perforated leaves with an almost velvety texture. Its variegation is random: some leaves are marbled, others half-white, or even entirely cream. The contrast between the deep green and bright white makes it a centerpiece in a collection. Each leaf is unique, and its upright growth makes it a perfect plant for trellising or hanging baskets.

✅ Why will you love it?

  • 🌱 Ultra graphic : perforated and variegated sheets that catch everyone's eye

  • Exceptional plant : each leaf is a living work of art

  • 🪴 Compact and stylish : perfect for small spaces or shelves

🌞 Essential maintenance tips

  • 💡 Light : Bright light without direct sunlight. Too much sunlight can burn the white variegation.

  • 🌡️ Temperature : between 18 and 27°C. It fears the cold and sudden variations.

  • 💧 Humidity : Loves humidity around 60-80%. Spray it regularly or use a humidifier.

✨ A plant that never goes unnoticed

Hold on tight: you'll definitely be asked where you found this tropical wonder . And you'll be able to proudly answer: at Green and White Plants, of course 🌿💚

Wonderful and short introduction to plate tectonics for those with little background in Earth science or mathematics
Format: Paperback
Molnar does an excellent job explaining key elements of plate tectonics. His book is understandable even for those with little background in geology or geophysics. Molnar, an expert on mountain building, nicely explains how collisions of plates with continents atop cause mountain belts to form. He also questions the limitations of plate tectonics in explaining formation of such mountains. Understanding Molnar's very short book requires little mathematics. An ideal text for college science courses for non-science majors, and for those who want to understand the evolution of Earth's geological features and phenomena.

Easy to read
Format: Paperback
The book was an easy to read discussion of plate tectonics. The technical terms were easily understood and presented in an interest manner. Technically sound and entertaining is a winning combination for a science book! I wold recommend this book to anyone interested in the topic but is not a scientist in the field.

Very short and very good
Format: eTextbook
I read this book or one similar to it my senior year in high school 1970. It absolutely caught my attention as a way to explain why the continents had separated from Gondwanaland. I really liked revisiting the theory in light of the advances made since then

I love VSI on Kindle
Format: eTextbook
The thing is they take a long time to read because of the look up feature. It's like reading a book in the Library of Congress.

There are few who are capable of telling the story ...
Format: Paperback
There are few who are capable of telling the story of plate techtonics including critical details. Peter Molnar is one of those chosen few who can deliver such a story succinctly and precisely.
