The Silver Bay Aglaonema is often referred to by its common name, Chinese Evergreen. The species was cultivated in China and other Asian countries for centuries as indoor ornamental foliage plants — or houseplants — known to bring good luck. 

One of the best plants for beginners, it's sturdy, easy to grow and tolerates almost any indoor condition. It's also definitely a great low-maintenance house-warming gift. It truly is 'evergreen' in that, when cared for properly, it will stay lush and beautiful for years.
