'Double Bourbon' is one unique daylily! As a double, it has twice the petals and sepals of a standard daylily—a good thing since it's such a gorgeous flower! Blooms are around 4 1/2" and are a lovely blend of rich amber, orange, and brown. Double Bourbon grows tall on scapes well over 2' in our East Tennessee garden. We've yet to see another daylily quite like this one.

As an early to mid season daylily, we first see these stunning blooms around the first of June. If you are to our north, you'll see them a bit later than we do. If you live to our south, you'll see them a couple of weeks before us. Nice rebloom means we'll see Double Bourbon off and on throughout the season.

Double Bourbon is a dormant daylily. That means it is best grown in areas that receive a sustained winter cold period like those in zones 8 and lower.

This stunning double looks amazing on its own, but it really pops when planted with standard or spider-type blooms. Try bright gold, luscious milk chocolate or sizzling hot pink to create a "I- can't-look-away" display.
