We adore it tucked into rock gardens, stone crevices, troughs, and pots, where its intricate texture can really be admired up close. It loves full sun, well-drained soil, and leaner soil, and once established, it is wonderfully drought-tolerant. Over time, it multiplies by offsets, gradually forming a low colony of charming little rosettes. The foliage stays quite petite, typically about 1" to 3" tall, with individual rosettes only a little over an inch across, though flowering stems rise higher in season.
