What's the difference between CabrioFix i-Size and the original CabrioFix you ask? It's all about the sizing! When choosing a car seat for your infant, original car seats would use weight to determine the best fit. With i-Size, the best seat for your child is decided by height which allows for the best safety of the head and neck of your little one. Other key benefits include rearward-facing travel (safer for younger children) is mandatory up to 15 months and i-Size regulations have now improved protection for side and front impacts which help with the prevention of head and neck injuries.

Safety 

Suitable from birth up to 12 months, you can take your baby from hospital to home. The CabrioFix i-Size Car Seat conforms to i-Size safety standards which is the highest safety rating in Europe, so you can relax knowing that your little one is safe in the most up to date regulations. For extra safety, you can pair your seat to the CabrioFix i-Size ISOFIX Base (sold separately) that is easily installed with one simple click. If you decide not to use the ISOFIX base that isn't a problem, you can easily install the seat using the integrated car belt system. 

Ease of use

Weighing in at 3.2kg, the CabrioFix i-Size Car Seat is the same weight as an average newborn baby, to ensure that transport to and from the car is as smooth as possible for both parent and baby. To make travelling easy, the CabrioFix i-Size has been designed to easily work within a travel system by combining the seat with a Maxi-Cosi Stroller. Featuring hand memory buttons, removing the seat from the stroller can be done all with one hand so you can switch from street to car and back with ease.

The CabrioFix i-Size provides safe travels and ensures your baby's comfort at the same time. This comfortably padded i-Size baby car seat comes with a newborn inlay that adds comfort for your newborn and a headrest will always perfectly fit the head of the baby. (Please note that you should only use the baby-hugg inlay of the CabrioFix i-Size until your baby exceeds the 60 cm length limit.) A large sun canopy ensures your baby’s protected from the elements and creates a better atmosphere for sleep so you can take your seat out no matter the weather!
