The plant grows very fast as a climber. After attaining maturity, its stem becomes woody. The plant needs a support to grow vertically and can attain height upto 14 feet. Some gardeners tie it with wall or any supporting pole. Its beautiful inflorescence (of pink and white mixed flowers) attracts not just human beings, but also butter flies. Its bunch of flowers look like a flower bouquet. Fascinating fragrance of its flowers attracts everyone. New flowers remain whitish in colour and after a day, they become reddish.  Leaves of this plant may suffer temporary damage during cold weather (need not to worry). After completion of cold season, leaves will revive.  It can be grown in a flower pot (minimum- 10 inches diameter) also.  This variety, hence it will bloom more flowers even at smaller height of plant.

If leaves of this plant become yellow or damaged due to sun burn or any other reason, we should prune the plant, so that new leaves may grow faster. This plant can recover very well. Over watering is to be strictly avoided. To make the ideal potting mix, 20 % drainage media in potting mix should be available. For better drainage, we can use any of these drainage media- river sand/ Leca/ Perlite/ Pumice or rice husk. This plant continues to bloom round the year except frost or extreme winter season. This is a sun loving plant. We should add vermicompost to soil on every two months.

Watering & Sunlight:       Whenever the soil becomes dry, please water the plant. It is suggested to spray water over leaves while watering the plants.  If you grow this plant in shady area, it can grow, but for blooming minimum 4 hours direct sunlight is must. However, more sunlight will enhance rate of booming. Even with low level of atmospheric humidity (25% ) and high temperature during summer, this plant continues to bloom and grow healthily.

Uses:   1.  Ornamental use, landscaping: This plant is widely used in landscaping as a climber.
