In the Philippines, it is known as “Malunggay,” and is a common ingredient in local cuisine. In Indonesia, it is referred to as “Kelor,” while Swahili-speaking regions in Africa call it “Mlonge.” In Senegal, it goes by “Nebedaye,” and in Spanish-speaking countries, it retains the name “Moringa.”

Propagation of Moringa can be achieved through seeds or cuttings, making it adaptable to different cultivation practices.
