Bring moody elegance to your indoor jungle with the Baltic Blue Pothos (Epipremnum pinnatum). Known for its striking blue-green leaves, this variety develops dramatic natural fenestrations as it matures, giving it an exotic, sculptural look. Its narrow, pointed foliage makes a bold statement while staying surprisingly low maintenance.

Why You’ll Love It: 💚

Perfect for training to climb or trail, the Baltic Blue thrives in medium to bright indirect light but adapts easily to lower light, making it a versatile choice for almost any room.

Plant Care FAQs:

  • Plant Type: Low Key
  • Plant Vibe: Tropical Climber
  • Light: Thrives in bright, indirect light but tolerates low light; avoid prolonged direct sun
  • Watering: Allow the top 1–2 inches of soil to dry before watering; avoid overwatering
  • Humidity: Prefers moderate to high humidity (50–70%) but adapts well to average indoor conditions
  • Soil: Well-draining potting mix with peat, perlite, and orchid bark
  • Fertilizer: Feed monthly with a balanced, diluted fertilizer during the growing season
  • Special Care: Provide a moss pole or trellis for climbing to encourage larger, fenestrated leaves
  • Toxicity: Toxic if ingested; keep out of reach of pets and children

Pro Care Tip: Rotate your Baltic Blue every few weeks to ensure even light exposure—this prevents legginess and encourages balanced fenestration on all sides.

Plant Styling Tips: Showcase its fenestrated foliage by letting it climb a moss pole, trellis, or decorative support—or allow it to cascade from a shelf for an effortlessly tropical vibe.

Tea Pairing Recommendation: Just like the Baltic Blue Pothos shows off moody blue-green leaves that deepen with maturity, Butterfly Pea Flower Tea brews into a stunning indigo-blue infusion that shifts color with a splash of lemon. Its floral, earthy notes echo the plant’s tropical roots while its color-play mirrors the evolving fenestrations of Baltic Blue leaves.

⚠️ Please note: The plant you receive may not be the exact one pictured, but it will be of the same type and size. Each plant is unique! Expect natural variation in color, leaf shape, and size. Cosmetic blemishes are normal and do not impact plant health.

Don't get tricked into buying this book like I did.
Format: Paperback
This is a fake book written by AI. It reads worse than a Wikipedia article and is a complete scam.

A Rough, Rocky Start
Format: Kindle
Modern Africa started after a long rough and rocky start. This book describes the trials each district has had to face to gain their freedom from Europe and what life was like in each district under the control of foreigners. As WWI began, many of Africa's districts were effected, some were forced to supply fighting men, some had their resources used to support the war effort, and some had fighting in their area. When WWII started Africa found that not much had changed. However, as Africa gained its freedom and became self governing internal wars broke out between the different tribes. Well, you will have to read the book to find out how that turned out. This book covers all that and so much more. It all written in an easy to read and understand format that Captivating History is known for and as always they do a great job of explaining everything. This is a great book and recommend you giving it a read.

An Overview of an Oft-Overlooked History
Format: Kindle
Depending on your ethnicity, you may, or may not, know a lot about Africa. This book summarizes the Continent’s history, highlighting the major events and occurrences that contributed its current geopolitical state. Africa today is made up of 54 countries, 2000 languages, 20% of the Earth's land mass, and 1.4 billion people. It therefore should play an important part in the World, today (which it does, but one that rarely makes the headlines in USA TV or newspaper coverage.) The Author covers, Slavery, European Colonization, Africa’s part in World Wars One & Two, and the various Religious histories going back to the time of Christ. Since the author is American, there is a portion devoted to the USA’s main relationships with different African Nations. All this culminates in a surveillance of the numerous African Civil Wars of the last 50 years leading to the reality of the current geopolitical scene. The section on Dictators and Revolutionaries is limited to one of each. I’m guessing there could have been more. Still, if you are looking for an overview of Africa as it is today and what contributed to its present situation, this is an excellent beginning point.

OK short read
Format: Kindle
Reasonable short read. Have to doubt the facts since the author writes FDR was alive in the 1950's and he leaves out the Haitian genocide in his narrative.
