    In fall, after soil temperatures are below 50ºF/10ºC. These bulbs bloom the following spring and require the cold winter temperatures for development. But let's say winter arrives and your bulbs are still in their bag. Not to worry! Bulbs are pre-programmed to grow so even if you have to plant through snow, plant your bulbs!

    How To Plant

    Most bulbs thrive in either full or partial sun and in almost any location with good drainage. Avoid planting at the base of hills or under drainage pipes where water collects and will rot the bulbs.

    Tips For success

    • A larger grouping of flower bulbs are far more fab than just a few planted here and there. Think clumps of color.
    • Buy the largest bulbs you can find.
    • Note the flowering times. Not all bulbs will bloom at the same time. A little planning will greatly increase the number of months you will enjoy bulb flowers.

Plants only dispatch Monday-Thursday to avoid problems with live plants sitting in a postal depot over the weekend. During busy periods , due to the nature of product and extra care needed when packing and preparing for post, please allow up to 7 days for delivery (depending on day purchased). Plants are only dispatched when crops are ready to travel , therefore some multi orders may be delivered separately and occasionally it may be necessary to hold back dispatch until plants are ready. Shipping is either via Post  or 24/48 Hour courier depending on order size/weight etc. at our discretion. Please be patient when ordering plants as you cannot rush nature.     You may return all unopened items within 14 days of delivery for a full refund less P&P charges. Any items received damaged in transit must be notified in writing/email within 24 hours of receipt. Live plants should arrive in perfect condition , If however for some reason they do not please contact us immediately upon receipt. A full refund including original P&P will be made for any items not as described or wrong part no etc. All returns must include your full details with a copy of original receipt.     Wood & Metal Desk Organizer – Sturdy but Assembly Needed
    This desk drawer organizer and pen holder is made from wood and painted metal and looks nice once assembled. The type of wood isn’t specified, but it feels heavy and solid. The pen holder requires assembly, which can be a bit tricky since no instructions are included. You need to attach the two wooden sides to the wooden bottom first, then add the metal sides. The screws are included, along with two mini screwdrivers, but the tools are very small and the wood is very hard, so I needed help to finish assembly. Once assembled, the items look attractive and feel sturdy. My organizer arrived with a small chip in one of the metal pieces, leaving a spot where the black paint is missing, which is noticeable. The organizer works best as shown in the listing photos — for larger items like glasses, wallets, cell phones, or keys. The sides of the organizer aren’t completely flush with the bottom, so very small items like paper clips could get stuck or fall through. To protect desktops, the organizer comes with four stick-on felt pads for the corners, and the pen holder has a rectangular felt pad that you attach yourself. Overall, it’s attractive, sturdy, and useful, but assembly can be a little challenging.

    VELCRO Ties Are the Standard to Rely On
    Size: 150Pk - 8" x 1/2", Style: Cord Wrap Cable Ties, Color: Black and Gray
    I am a big fan of VELCRO brand products because of their quality and utility. I have used their rolls of Velcro hook and loop tape as well as their little patches, and I became a brand loyalist. Yes, there are many other manufacturers, but these are certainly as good as it gets. This product is your very basic, very thin, and very copious supply (for my neighbors in Rio Linda - that means plenty of them). You get two big spools of these little eight (8) inch ties that are adhesive throughout their length - that means you can tie the smallest cables to anything almost up to their full length. If you need a longer wrap - use more than one and just extend the length by piggy backing them. The real advantage of this bulk package is that you are not tempted to save some for later - you have enough to use as many as you like and can happily go tie crazy on all your cords! It's VELCRO party time. We live in an electronic age, and I have a lot of more pricey hook-and-loop specialty ties, and I try to keep a few back as spares. Forget that - with these little ties, I can actually use them and do what I need to get those tangled cords in shape. O.K. maybe I am a geek, but I cook my chicken - dead already, and I believe in independent segregated wiring and not tripping over things or spending time untangling messes when I need to move gear. These big rolls will make your life easier - I use them to attach notes to little jars or vials - to tie two gloves together when I am not wearing them - and other uses even cutting them into smaller pieces. That's one of the advantages of these bulk spools - lots of supply. Yes, the individual ties are dinky thin little things, but they hold very well (why you buy genuine VELCRO) and you don't feel stupid using them up on anything you feel like.
