Summary: This impressive XL Monstera Deliciosa comes pre-mounted on a moss pole, ready to transform your space with its iconic split leaves and lush, tropical vibe.

✨ Why You'll Love the Monstera Deliciosa XL

  • Large, deeply fenestrated leaves for instant jungle impact
  • Mounted on a moss pole to support natural climbing growth
  • Perfect as a dramatic statement plant for living rooms or offices
  • Fast-growing and easy to care for
  • Delivered securely in XL size (approx. 100–150 cm depending on current stock)

🌞 Light & Placement

Thrives in bright, indirect light but tolerates some gentle direct sun. Ideal near south or west-facing windows to encourage vigorous leaf growth and fenestration.

💧 Water & Humidity

Water when the top 3–5 cm of soil are dry. Prefers moderate to high humidity – mist the moss pole regularly to encourage aerial root attachment and lush growth.

🪴 Soil & Potting

Use a chunky, well-draining aroid mix with orchid bark and perlite for optimal root health. Repot every 1–2 years in spring to refresh soil and support its expanding roots.

🐾 Toxicity & Safety

Toxic to pets if ingested due to calcium oxalate crystals. Keep out of reach of cats and dogs.

🌱 Growth & Propagation

Fast-growing climber that develops larger leaves as it matures up its moss pole. Propagate via stem cuttings with at least one node, rooted in water or sphagnum moss for best results.

📆 Seasonal & Special Care

Rotate occasionally for even growth. Fertilise monthly during spring and summer with a balanced liquid fertiliser. Reduce watering slightly in winter when growth slows.

🐛 Common Issues

Watch for spider mites or scale insects in dry conditions. Yellowing lower leaves usually indicate overwatering or poor drainage. Wipe leaves regularly to maintain their glossy beauty and support photosynthesis.

🧬 Botanical Background

Monstera Deliciosa, native to Central America, is beloved worldwide for its iconic split leaves and robust climbing habit. Known as the Swiss Cheese Plant, it brings lush tropical energy and timeless interior style to European homes.

In law there is always another way
Format: Kindle
I finished this book having completed all but one course for my law degree. It is a goldmine of techniques and outlines the modus operandi of how Judges and Lawyers ideally operate.

Needs to be more concise to weed out extraneous crap in your arguments
Format: Paperback
It’s very wordy and could be a lot more concise and be even more effective. “Getting to maybe” is not an exercise in dissertations but finding the right points to create an effective argument. There are better resources out there.

This book made me angry
Format: Paperback
I was excited about this book. Many law-related blogs and forums highly recommended this book. It's a "must read" for law students, they said. I was angry when I read the introduction. I was angrier when I began reading the chapters. What happened to brevity? Law students are already swamped with course readings. Why write a book intended to be read by law students in such a long and voluminous way? Much of the text can be removed. "Get to the point," I found myself telling the author as I read page after page. I hated it. It is the rare law student who will pick up this book for its narrative value. The typical law student will pick this book for its value on navigating through law school exams, not for its story-telling. Yet that student will be left disappointed. I wish the author would have considered writing a "Get to the Point" book, which would serve as a shorter version of 'Getting to Maybe.' Perhaps it is not too late. "Get to the Point" could serve as an alternative or accompanying version, maybe? I ask that the author considers this.
