The delicate beauty of bleeding heart vine belies its fast growth habit. It's one of the best fast growing vines for covering an arbor, trellis, pergola or that chain link fence. It's a versatile plant because it will thrive and blossom almost anywhere in a landscape - from full sun to partial shade. This vine blooms on and off all year - more in milder weather - with frilly clusters of snowy white heart-shaped flowers. At first glance, it appears that each little blossom is tipped with a touch of scarlet. The white part is actually a flower "bract" from which a red flower emerges. Leaves are a soft dark green and contrast beautifully against the white. The foliage tends to stay darker, fuller and more lush in part shade. In full sun the leaf color fades to a medium green and growth is less dense, though you'll get more profuse flowering. Bleeding heart vine usually needs a hard pruning to keep it full and bushy and an ideal size. Cut back hard in early spring and again if needed in early fall. Wonderful, simple book for children of all ages
Format: Hardcover
I am 65 years old and this was one of my first books. The revisions along the way have not changed the drawings that much. It is simple, but well illustrated, and gives a basic idea of good manners. I recommend it for every child - it makes them think about behavior. The way the author demonstrates "me first" and "whinney" have stuck with me all these years.

Great for encouraging speech
Format: Board book
I rarely write reviews but I just had to share my experience with this book. I have two year old twins. One has a diagnosed speech delay. They both love this book and are excited to read it. It has simple pictures that are easy for them to recognize and picture everyday things. They both love imitating the sounds. I think it’s a great for speech therapy for toddlers. Definitely recommend.

Perfect for early speech skills
Format: Board book
Our first child was speech delayed, so we're hitting the ground running this time with our 1 year old. This Imitation Book is PERFECT for introducing those early gestures and words to your little ones. There are interactive pages (like a door for knocking on and bubbles to pop) that really help your child engage with the book. Also, our 3 year old loves it right alongside his little brother! We also picked up the other 2 books in this collection to help aid in those early language skills.

As an SLP I love this simple engaging book

Speech path here. I love this book. It was one of my son’s favorites and what I used to help him produce more words from 1-2years. He was my slowest to talk but loved the engaging sounds in this book. It’s simple but you can add a lot of info or new comments each time you read it with encouragement for your kiddo to produce simple early developing sounds. I utilized pausing with it too to tie my son the chance to produce the sounds. I gift it often now! Just wish it was a tadddd cheaper.

Fun and interactive.

My one-year-old granddaughter loves this little book. There's no story, but it's interactive and fun, and the illustrations are cute and colorful. She enjoys doing all the things on the pages - knocking, waving, blowing, etc.
