This hardy species likes moist soil and can even be grown with the pot in standing water for much of the growing season. Sizing Notes:

• Small Starts are 1+ yr old and in the shorter height range with narrower caliper. Most will not have branching yet.
• Regular Starts are 1-2 yrs old, but larger and taller. They have been threaded through a washer to produce lateral roots.
• Premium Starts are generally a year or more older, often with branching.
• Premium+ Starts are ground grown for 2 years through a CD or washers to produce excellent radial roots.
• Large Prebonsai are like the Premium+ Starts, but with thicker trunks that have been chopped low to produce taper.
