About the Artist
Michael has always loved to paint. His father, who taught art throughout his working career, encouraged him. Michael studied painting in England and followed his father’s example as an art teacher. He soon moved into the business world where he pursued a successful career as a marketing executive. He never stopped painting. When his company moved Michael to their southern Californian head office, his painting really took off. Michael recalls his first impressions of California. " Leaving the often gray skies of England for the brilliant colors and fantastic shadows created by the warm, natural light of southern California, took my breath away." Every clinician should have this book on their shelf and close at hand. If you write a lot of reports and case notes, this book is extremely helpful. It assists you with choosing the best statements to use in your reports. Can't say enough great things about this handbook. It's all you need, and I have been buying this book for years, since the first edition! Great to give as a gift to beginning clinicians. Not only for psych reports but useful for all clinical reports
