Dramatic advances in LED lighting have made indoor plant cultivation easy. Indoor temperatures can be easily controlled with air conditioning, making it possible to recreate environments resembling the plant's native habitat, such as "very bright, yet very cool," something that was previously impossible in Japan's climate.
