Available in different options:

  • 1x Pot
  • 3x Pots (multi-pack)
  • 5x Pots (multi-pack)
  • 10x Pots (multi-pack)
  • Lava Rock (pre-attached, ready to place)

An excellent, easy, beginner little plant. Anubias Nana 'Petite' is one of the smallest little Anubias types. It should be placed in the front, as it will stay small and reproduce through lateral nodes. Slow growing, but you'd eventually be able to break off sections for a new plant.

As an epiphyte, Anubias should not be completely buried in the substrate, as it will rot. Simply anchor a few roots in, no more than a quarter inch deep. These are also great for gluing to driftwood and rocks! The lava rock option comes pre-attached on a 2-4" piece, ready for your aquascaping projects.

Anubias are hardy and slow-growing. Perfect for tough livestock such as goldfish and certain cichlids. Tolerates lower light, and is pretty difficult to kill in my opinion!

One thing to note: As Anubias are slow growers, algae growth can be a concern. Just keep an eye on your parameters, and put your lights on a little plug-in timer. Six hours of light is plenty.

Potted specimens are rooted and established, with several shoots. Plants are 1-3" tall. EMERGENT-GROWN

Growing Requirements:

  • Temperature: 65-80°F
  • pH: 6-8
  • Light: Low to medium intensity
  • Growth rate: Slow
  • Perfect for beginners and hardy fish

As I like to keep real ecosystems in my aquariums, there’s always a chance of harmless hitchhikers like snails or dwarf shrimp tagging along with your plants!

I personally keep several beneficial snail species in my tanks, including Colorful Ramshorns, Bronze Bladder and Pond Snails, Mini Rams, and Malaysian Trumpet Snails. These snails stay relatively small, help clean the aquarium, and do not eat healthy plants or cause harm. However, if you’d rather avoid any hitchhikers, I highly recommend checking out our blog on how to safely disinfect aquarium plants before adding them to your tank:
How to Bleach Dip Aquarium Plants Safely

All plants are freshly snipped or harvested and packed right before shipment. I take great care in preparing every order and use methods that have consistently produced the best results over many years in the hobby. A lot of love goes into every package, so please don’t leave your plants sitting in a hot mailbox for too long 🙏

Thank you for looking, aqua friends! 💚

Educational & Interesting Bathroom Reader
Format: Paperback
I bought this for my husband for Christmas given that he loves history. I figured it’d be a hit as a bathroom reader… I was right and it’s become a fixture right next to the toilet paper! He likes that it challenges him to think. Now there’s no need to take his phone into the bathroom!

BCE? No, it is BC!
Format: Paperback
I love history; there is a lot in this book I did not know. It is definitely a challenge and a great way to learn. I took off one star (considered taking off two) because the author uses the non-Christian term of BCE. I HATE seeing that instead of what it really is BC - before Christ! I wonder if he is an atheist.
