A native of southern Africa, this plant can grow up to 4 metres long in its natural habitat, trailing down from trees and rooting as it grows. Indoors, it thrives in bright rooms and is happiest left to spill from shelves or hanging planters. Enjoys bright, indirect light but tolerates some shade. A sunny windowsill is ideal — too little light can reduce variegation and slow growth.
