Also known as Cranesbill & Alum Root. Wild Geranium is a herbaceous plant growing around 2 feet tall with deeply lobed, toothed leaves. The plant flowers in late spring. The flowers have five petals and are pink or purple ( rarely white). Cranesbill is Native to the Eastern United States and is common forest growth. The botanical name is from the Greek word "geranos", meaning a crane. When the plant fruits it has a distinct look resembling a crane's beak, hence the common name "Cranesbill".

STRATIFICATION NEEDED - To stratify your organic Seeds, place the container in the refrigerator in some moistened peat, sand or paper towel in a closed container or sealed plastic bag. Store seeds this way for 60-90 days. Keep moist/damp but not wet.
