Sempervivum 'Grey Lady' (Vaughn) is a mid-sized perennial succulent admired for its striking silver-green rosettes, which can shift to blush pink or deep wine-red hues under temperature variations or seasonal dormancy. This unique cultivar is hybridized from the classic S. 'Silverine,' offering a refined contrast to red or purple-toned Sempervivum varieties. Its leaves, lined with delicate cilia and coated in a natural epicuticular wax, create an appealing wavy watermark effect that adds visual depth to the rosette's ovate, pointed form.

This hardy succulent is well-suited to Australian gardens, thriving in cool to temperate climates with frosty winters. With a natural resilience to drought, heat, and neglect, it is particularly suited for low-maintenance gardening. It grows actively during spring and autumn, requiring full to partial sun exposure to maintain its tight rosette shape and vivid colouring.
