Germination Instructions
- Soak the seeds in tap water for 24 hours
- Optimal germination temperature range is 25c to 35c so a heat mat is likely to be required
- Prepare a seeds tray with a good compost mix at room temperature - ideally 50/50 compost and vermiculite.
- Push seeds gently into surface of compost
- Cover the seeds with a fine layer of around 2cm of compost,
- Cover seed tray with cover, cling film etc - air holes to allow some ventilation.
- Germination can start from 10 days in ideal conditions
- Pot on as required.
Overwintering
Typically, sugarcane grows best in warm climates with temperatures ranging from 20°C to 35°C. Growth can slow down or stop altogether if temperatures fall below 15°C or if there are extreme temperature fluctuations. Additionally, frost can damage sugarcane plants, leading to halted growth or even death. Therefore, in cold climates, containers grown sugarcane is best overwintered in a heated Greenhouse/Polytunnel or in a Conservatory.

Great ball for heavy chewers

Indestructible

Blue isn't that easy to see in the yard
White charges with bright light/UV and is truly a game changer for night-time fetch. Both dogs clearly favor it.
Orange is easy to see in the grass at day
They're 3 different weights as well, so double trial. I prefer medium for my big dogs, though light performs well too
The orange is HEAVY and unyielding. Do NOT throw it with a ball thrower. It could damage your house or knock your dog out. Seems tough though.
