Selective Post-Emergent Control of Bermudagrass & Grassy Weeds

Professional-grade grass weed control that won’t harm ornamental plants.

Fusilade® II Turf and Ornamental Herbicide is a selective, systemic post-emergent herbicide designed to control annual and perennial grassy weeds without injuring labeled broadleaf ornamentals. It is especially effective for suppressing and removing Bermudagrass from tall fescue and zoysiagrass turf, making it a go-to solution for overseed transition and turf correction programs.

Absorbed quickly through leaf tissue, Fusilade II moves throughout the plant to the shoots, roots, rhizomes, and stolons—stopping growth within days and delivering visible yellowing and decline within 7–14 days.

What It Controls

  • Bermudagrass (suppression & control in fescue and zoysia)
  • Crabgrass
  • Goosegrass
  • Foxtail
  • Johnsongrass
  • Other annual and perennial grassy weeds

Why Choose Fusilade® II

  • Selective Grass Control: Removes grassy weeds without harming labeled ornamentals.
  • Bermuda Removal Specialist: One of the best tools for suppressing Bermudagrass in cool-season turf.
  • Systemic Action: Moves through the plant for complete control.
  • Rainfast in 1 Hour: Reduces risk of wash-off after application.
  • Flexible Application: Over-the-top or directed spray options available.

Lawn & Landscape Use

  • Suppress and control Bermudagrass in Tall Fescue
  • Suppress Bermudagrass in Zoysiagrass
  • Control grassy weeds in ornamental beds
  • Use in landscapes, commercial turf, and residential lawns

Always verify turf tolerance and site suitability on the product label before application.

Application Rates

General Grass Weed Control:

  • 0.4 – 0.6 fl oz per 1,000 sq ft (16–24 fl oz per acre)
  • Add nonionic surfactant at 0.25% v/v (½ pint per 25 gallons of spray solution)

Bermudagrass Suppression in Zoysiagrass & Tall Fescue:

  • 0.07 – 0.14 fl oz per 1,000 sq ft (3–6 fl oz per acre)
  • Repeat every 28 days while actively growing
  • Higher rates may cause temporary turf discoloration (recovery typically 10–14 days)

Bermudagrass Suppression in St. Augustine

  • Using Fusilade II on St. Augustine grass requires mixing it with Recognition Herbicide to prevent severe turf damage.
  • Apply Recognition at .029-.044 oz./1,000 sqft with Fusilade II at .55 oz./1,000 sqft
  • Include a non-ionic surfactant.  0.32 oz./gal. of spray solution
  • Provide adequate fertility and irrigation to encourage zoysiagrass or St. Augustine grass growth and spread
  • Additional applications may be needed to maintain bermuda grass control until the St. Augustine grass can spread into the voids left behind
  • Application intervals vary by time of year and growing conditions, but with .55 oz/1,000 sqft of Fusilade II, a five- to six-week application interval is typical

Application Guidelines

  • Apply to actively growing grass weeds.
  • Avoid mowing 7 days before and after application.
  • Do not apply to drought-stressed or heat-stressed turf.
  • Avoid peak summer applications (July–August) on cool-season turf.
  • Allow at least 1 hour before rainfall or irrigation.

Important Notes

  • Always include a nonionic surfactant.
  • Uniform coverage is critical for effective control.
  • Rotate herbicide modes of action to reduce resistance risk.
  • Always read and follow the full product label.

Fusilade® II is a professional-level solution for correcting Bermudagrass contamination and controlling grassy weeds while protecting valuable turf and ornamental plantings.

Black & Decker coffee pot
Color: Black, Style: coffeemaker
Good coffee pot lasts a long time still going today only downfall which you wouldn't get the five stars is the protective cover on the heat plate scrapes off too soon by putting the pot in and out.

Simple, Basic and NOT expensive
Color: Black, Style: coffeemaker
Not Fancy, Not Complicated, Not Expensive. What else do you need in the morning. Replaced the same model with a new one as my old one broke after more than 15 years of faithful service. Takes 11 minutes to brew 8 cups of coffee, which BTW is really only 3.5 cups of coffee in a real mug. Yes, you can set it to start automatically in the morning. Thank goodness for Amazon same day delivery or there would have been chaos the next morning.

Good value. Decent coffee maker.
Color: Black, Style: coffeemaker
This is a decent pretty basic coffee maker. Nothing fancy but it’s programmable and has sneak a cup. That’s all I really care about. I was concerned after reading some reviews about the coffee tasting plastic and leaking. I’m glad that I have not experienced these issues. I bought this because all of the $70-$100 coffee makers I’ve bought die after a year or two anyway. So far so good.

It’s fine, very basic- light during brewing doesn’t work, but it still brews a good cup!
Color: Black, Style: coffeemaker
Sadly I accidentally dropped my coffee pot into my sink trying to wash it and it shattered the entire bottom, so I just bought a similar one, same brand. It works fine, but it doesn’t work as the instructions say. Supposedly when you push the clock button to brew it will give you a green light on the left upper side, and when it’s done brewing it will have a red logo on the bottom right side. I cannot get it to give me the green light for brewing, but if I just hold the clock button down, I’ll hear it stat to gurgle and then it brews. So that part is definitely (at least on mine) not functioning properly, but I don’t care enough to return it and be without coffee another morning, and B&D is always a decent brand. I have a $2800k fancy espresso/latte/cappuccino maker that grinds fresh beans and I use the plain old coffee pot way more because I drink too much coffee to make cup after cup, I want the whole carafe. Besides that one faulty light, it works like any other $35 coffee pot, no frills, and it gets the job done.
