When ready to eat the scales will begin to fall off slowly on their own revealing the creamy, pineapple flavored pulp. Do not forcefully peel off scales.

I'm a side sleeper so it's really comfy for me to have some "squishiness" like these have. As far as quality goes, these are nicely stitched and the fabric feels soft. The pillows are rather lightweight and I won't know how durable these are until we've used them for a while.
