This tropical split leaf (when mature) philodendron is an easy plant to grow and can thrive in partial sun or shade.   This is a smaller hybrid version of the Selloum philodendron.   Although it is a smaller version, these plants can still grow to be 4ft in height and grow almost as wide as they grow tall.  It enjoys it’s soil drying out before it’s next watering and requires little to no maintenance besides the correct fertilizer.  We ship this with an application of 8 month time released fertilizer.

Care Guidelines-

~Do Not place in full sun. Though many Philodendron can be acclimated to full sun, our Philodendron have been grown under shaded, greenhouse conditions.

~Philodendron are considerably hardy & tolerant of a wide range of growing conditions, but for the best growth it is recommended to provide higher levels of humidity.

~If trying to get Philodendron to mature, give them a moss pole or wood board to climb! Make sure to keep the pole or board saturated though so aerial roots can attach & actually climb!
