After the White Dyad Large existed and was considered finished, someone held an olive glaze up next to it and did not say anything. What followed was either a creative decision or the opening move in a disagreement that divided the studio for considerably longer than anyone is comfortable admitting. Olive won its side of it, which is what olive always does: patiently, by being so obviously correct that the opposing position eventually runs out of things to say.

It suits Monstera deliciosa, Ficus lyrata, Dracaena marginata, and mature Sansevieria with yellow-edged variegation. Indianapolis Museum of Art stocks the Dyad Large. Chrysler Museum of Art carries it alongside other considered ceramics in their gift shop.
