Philodendron Thai Sunrise Galaxy: A Stunning Tropical Treasure

Philodendron Thai Sunrise Galaxy is a beautiful and rare variety of Philodendron, known for its vibrant, variegated leaves with striking hues of yellow, green, and orange. This variety combines the bold colors of a sunrise with the graceful form of a Philodendron, making it an ideal choice for collectors and plant enthusiasts.

Why Philodendron Thai Sunrise Galaxy is a Showstopper

  • Sunrise Colors: The yellow-orange variegation on the leaves mimics the glow of a sunrise, creating a stunning visual contrast with the deep green backdrop.
  • Exotic and Rare: As one of the more rare and exclusive varieties, this plant is a true gem for any collector or indoor plant enthusiast.
  • Fast-Growing and Lush: Known for its vigorous growth, it fills spaces quickly with lush, tropical foliage.

Where Philodendron Thai Sunrise Galaxy Thrives

  • Native Habitat: Native to the tropical rainforests of Southeast Asia, particularly Thailand and Malaysia.
  • Original Environment: Grows as a climbing vine in the shaded understory, where it benefits from high humidity and filtered sunlight.

Aerial Roots and Growth Patterns

  • Aerial Roots: Like other climbing Philodendron species, it produces aerial roots to help secure itself to trees and structures in the wild.
  • Growth Support: Encourage vertical growth by providing a moss pole or trellis to help guide its vines upwards.

Care Tips for Philodendron Thai Sunrise Galaxy

  • Light Needs: Prefers bright, indirect light to enhance the stunning variegation on its leaves.
  • Watering: Water when the top 1-2 inches of soil feel dry. Avoid overwatering to prevent root rot.
  • Temperature & Humidity: Thrives in warm temperatures (65-80°F) and enjoys moderate to high humidity.

Basic knowledge of underwriting is necessary to understand.
Format: Paperback
This is a great guide for underwriting multifamily deals for someone with some basic to moderate knowledge of underwriting. I am a new student to this field and have to stop and google some of the acronyms. For a future version, I think adding an extra page for the acronyms used, definition and equation would be helpful. I think that the font could be larger and darker. Adding mathematical formulas in the book would provide visualization as well. Rob can also provide a sample OM for the reader to use with his underwriting model and compare to his completed one. Again, I am a newbie so my review may change as I gain knowledge in this area. I enjoyed listening to Rob on Youtube/Podcast and hope to learn more from him.

great read for underwriters of multifamily deals
Format: Kindle
Rob lays out a succinct and thorough summary of his underwriting process, questions industry standards while sharing his opinions, and discusses risk management and analyses for deals during the underwriting process. Highly recommend for newer and more seasoned underwriters and investors to build or sharpen multifamily underwriting fundamentals and details. He also shares his model as the example.

Full of useful information
Format: Paperback
As context, I've underwritten about 100 deals and attended some basic underwriting classes. Rob's book was very useful to me, both in helping me gain better skills in underwriting basics (stabilization time period and how unit renovations and rent bumps are modeled/phased-in as well as when to start applying rent escalator) as well as higher level topics, like partnership structures, sensitivity analyses, and judging the returns. In all of these higher level topics I learned several new topics (and calculations to add to my underwriting) and would guess that even experienced investors would pick up a few quality nuggets in these sections.
