The Tradescantia Pallida aka Purple Heart is a very easy to maintain succulent that looks beautiful as a ground cover but also in a tall or hanging pot. The Purple Heart has narrow pointy purple leaves and blooms small pink flowers, especially in summer. It is drought tolerant and likes to be watered more than most other succulents. Pots sold separately.
Water Tolerance: Water once or twice a week (preferably on schedule). Allow the soil to be dry between waterings.
Soil: Enjoys gritty succulent potting soil. Feed during the growing season (spring) by adding new soil. If you grow them in containers, repot them with fresh potting soil every 2 -3 years.
