Philodendron Micans Albo / Pink Variegated is a true variegated form of Philodendron micans that is meaningfully different from micans “aurea” plants that can blush pink from sunstress. With true pink micans, new leaves emerge with white to light pink variegation and the variegated areas stay clean, with no yellow tinting on the variegated sections. The base leaf is still that classic micans velvet, but the variegation shows up as marbling or sectoral patches that vary leaf to leaf. It grows as a trailer or climber and does best in bright, indirect light with a well-draining mix kept lightly moist.

Though a bit lightweight, seems quite well made.

This duvet looks exactly as shown on the Amazon website. I bought the white/white color and it looks and feels very fresh and fluffy, quite lovely. It appears to be well made with a pretty stitched design. It feels soft and comforting. Though it is not overly thick, my intention is not to use it with a duvet cover but to tuck it between a sheet and thermal blanket with a wool blanket on top. It should function well as insulation on a cold night but also be comfortable on cooling autumn nights without the added wool blanket. I believe it will be very easy to use to use this way, rather than with the hassle of a duvet cover. Also, it will transition well from fall into winter. I know that it is machine washable. But as I own a HE washer, I do plan to launder it at the laundromat in a larger machine. It so fully covers my king sized bed that I fear it might overwhelm the HE washer. But I do like the generous size. I am so glad to have found this duvet at a great price. It was absolutely a value.
