How to Use Black Gold Natural & Organic Succulent & Cactus Potting Mix
- Choose Container: Choose a container slightly larger than the old. Make sure it has drainage holes and a bottom saucer to catch water. Cover large drainage holes with a piece of screen or pebble layer for mix retention.
- Transfer: Carefully tip and remove the plant from its old container, keeping its root ball intact. If plants are pot-bound, gently loosen the roots for better soil-to-root contact.
- Planting: Add a layer of mix at the bottom of the new container. Center the plant, and fully cover the roots with fresh mix, leaving a 1-inch space at the top for watering. Gently press the mix down and brush excess away from stems or leaves.
- Watering & Feeding: Cacti and succulents require moderate to low water, especially in the winter months, so allow mix to become mostly dry between watering times. Outdoor plants will require more water during the growing months. Feed plants regularly with a fertilizer formulated for cacti and succulents. Follow manufacturer's recommendations.
- Growing Environment: Research your specific plant's needs to give it the best possible care. Most indoor cacti and succulents prefer bright sunlight, average warmth, and low to moderate humidity. Outdoor specimens may require midday shade where summers are very hot and dry.

Perfectly fits what I needed for my espresso habit!

This Maestri House mini coffee scale is a great little tool for espresso and pour-over. Maestro House Mini Coffee Scale
I have begun to drink tea, pu’erh tea to be specific. I have several varieties and I have had a problem with getting consistent results. The varieties can be very different in size depending on when the leaves are harvested (leaves harvested in spring are much smaller). So the easiest way to get consistent results is by weight. This scale is very easy to use with a ceramic tea scoop, set the tea scoop on the scale, zero it out and add tea leaves. This has made my results much better, without the wild swings in strength I had been getting before trying to eyeball even measures. This scale gives me accurate measurements to one tenth of a gram.

Mostly great, except one little annoyance

Pros- lightweight, small, very accurate, easy to clean, timer included.
Cons- I use this to brew espresso on my Breville Touch and to get an accurate reading, you have to place something flat (structured) under the scale. Otherwise the reading just jumps all over the place. I know lot of espresso machines have the same base, so this might be an issue for some!
This is my reason for 4/5 stars. It’s an easy fix, it’s just kind of annoying. Value for the price seems to be on point. It’s easy to clean. It has a timer as well as scale (nice for espresso). Buttons work the first time you push them.

Beautiful, functional, and perfect for a stylish coffee bar
I absolutely love this scale. As someone who cares about both function and aesthetics, this was exactly what I was looking for. Great scale, an excellent buy

Is it possible to fall in love with a scale? I unboxed this one and, without reading any directions, put an empty 1/4 cup on it, turned the scale on, filled the 1/4 cup with coffee beans till I had the desired 17 or so grams, and turned the scale off. Easy-peasy! It’s small but sensitive, able to tell when a single bean has been added or removed. I almost didn’t get it because of the charging issue, but at least it tells you what the current charge is, and the way I use it I believe it will last several months without recharging. I’m so glad I bought this scale!
