Plant in full sun (coastal) to part sun. Drought tolerant. Yellow flowers in summer. Rosettes surrounding flowering plant dies back. Hardy to about 25-30 degrees F. This plant was given to us many years ago by a local Santa Barbara gardener. We asked many succulent specialists and other nurseries if they could identify it and as yet nobody has come up with a name. It has been suggested that it is a Aeonium canariensis hybrid but it was different enough from other Aeonium that we felt we should apply a name, even if only temporarily, to designate this plant as different. The name has stuck and we now have customers asking for it by name - guess it will remain Aeonium 'Mint Saucer'. San Marcos Growers first introduced this plant to the horticultural trade in 1991.
