Real Authentic Monstera Obliqua Peru. Monstera Obliqua is one of the rarest - and most demanding - monstera varieties out there and it's an expensive challenge only the most passionate plant parents attempt. If you're absolutely serious about getting one of these stunning houseplants, we are here to help you.

This is the one with heavy fenestration; it is the only one that is popular in cultivation due to its holes. The Monstera Obliqua Peru has a special appearance with its large holes in the leaves. Much lesser known than the larger Monstera Deliciosa, but also an asset to your urban jungle in a modest format. It is a green climbing plant that grows to only a few meters in height. This refers to the bulk of the members’ characteristic pierced leaves.

Monstera Obliqua inhabits an ephemeral, meaning fast-changing habitat, often at sea level, and installs itself among roots on the lower section of larger trees. It reaches maturity even on small trees as it is not a big climber. Its smallish size has the advantage that it can make use of a substrate that is not available to other plants. Furthermore, it is epiphytic, meaning that it can grow on top of other plants and takes in moisture and nutrients from the air, debris, rain, and also water.

You may find a plant labelled as Monstera Obliqua in garden centres, but you can be assured that you’re actually looking at an Adansonii. How to tell the difference: While Adansonii leaves are quite fenestrated, Obliqua leaves are extremely fenestrated to the point that there is more hole than leaves. In fact, up to 90% of a mature Monstera Obliqua Peru leaf is empty space!

Monstera Obliqua Peru and Adansonii are remarkably similar for the first few years of growth leading to them often being mistaken one for the other. The differences only become apparent as the plants mature and Monstera Adansonii develops thick leathery leaves in contrast to the slender, paper-thin leaves of Monstera Obliqua.

This is one “under the radar” gem!!
Size: Large, Color: Coral
This is one “under the radar” gem!! Very strong internal squeaker and way tougher than it looks. My big 125lb Shepard-Husky mix gave it heck, then made it his new buddy. He’ll occasionally give it the business but on the whole, it’s surprisingly tough and my big boy loves it. Nice price!!

Cute but small
Size: Large, Color: Skinny Green
Cute stuffy and has not yet ripped. While my dogs plays with it, the toy is a bit small for him. For reference he is 120lbs.

Powerful little ball
The ball is well designed, made, and is durable. It is functional and easy to turn on. It has a good amount of power and movement to capture my pets attention. It moves easily on wooden, laminated, and carpeted floors. The material is hard which makes it not break down easily when bitten or chewed. The colors are appealing and attractive.

Too big and heavy for my dog. Spins more often than it rolls. Good material.
The first time we used this, which honestly took a bit too long to figure out, our dog was excited and immediately kicked it under the couch. I guess that makes sense, you really have no idea where this thing is going to end up. I did fish it out after a bit, and it needed a charge. After reassembly, the ball would only spin in circles until it was hit. That's probably just as well, as it was still engaging and less likely to roll away. The issue is this is large and heavy, larger than a tennis ball and heavier than it looks. That's fine for big dogs, but it isn't great for small dogs like Boston terriers or frenchies, and definitely useless for toy breeds. My dog was able to lift it with the module removed, and that's how he prefers it now. The outer TPU layer is strong and grippy, so it's not a total waste. It looks a little rougher than the pictures appear but my dog doesn't mind. I get it... I"ve worked with TPU before and it's a temperamental material. The price is quite low, but not if you aren't getting use out of the mechanical aspect. This is a good value for the right dog: a medium dog with a snout - maybe a sheltie; definitely a golden. For others, a smaller version would be nice.

Hands free toy!!!
This is one of my dogs absolute favorite toys. I have a German shepherd husky mix that is notorious for destroying his toys. This one has stood the test !!! Have had it for about a month and we have played rough with it. The battery lasts forever. It’s such an easy toy too. Stuck under the couch?? It’ll eventually bounce its way out. Dog nudging and you need some space, pop this this on and it’s like a magic trick lol. My dog gets so excited when I pick it up because he knows I’ll turn it on. Sometimes, he will bounce it hoping it will turn on lol. Stronglyyyyyyy recommend.
