'Little Lemon Twist' daylily has small, uniquely-shaped blooms on super tall scapes! A fun-sized beauty that adds a burst of "happy" to the early-season garden. A beautiful and unusual addition to your summer garden.

Clear lemon yellow blooms are a little over 3" and create quite a juxtaposition on super tall scapes that reach around 32" tall in our East Tennessee garden. Classified as a Daylily of Unusual Form (yes, that's a real term!), Little Lemon Twist is what's known as a Crispate; its blooms have a pinched or folded effect. Gorgeous!

A early season bloomer, we typically see the cheerful yellow blooms of Little Lemon Twist around early June in our East Tennessee garden. Those of you to our north will see it a bit later than we do. If you live to our south, you can expect to see it a couple weeks before us.

As a dormant daylily, Little Lemon Twist is best suited for gardens in areas that receive a sustained cold period in the winter such as zones 8 and below.

A fantastic increaser, you'll want to place it where it can really spread out... and still show off its beautiful, mounded foliage. We like it paired with any daylily with a yellow throat, but think it looks especially stunning when planted near large bloomed, mid-sized varieties.
