The town’s most trusted leader falls prey to his influence and leads his flock down a path of death and terror.  

Emeline watches as friends and neighbors are lost to its false convictions. Feeling trapped, and terrified she could be next, Emeline makes a decision that will put to test every belief she’s ever known. She’s going to summon a demon of her own to fight the monster that’s taken over their town. 

But when The Headless Horseman arises, she finds herself outmatched in a back-and-forth of bargaining and choice. The Horseman wants her, in every way. 

To earn his help, she’ll have to lose her faith, find her courage, and learn a few devious tricks along the way.
