Clear Sky Passion Flower.  An unbelievable variety developed by Roland Fischer in Germany. The same vigor and hardiness as the standard Blue Crown Passion Flower, but with blooms twice the size! The blooms have darker color in the center.  The flowers have a delicious, fruity fragrance that smells like guavas.  Hardy to 15 degrees F!  If the top is damaged by frost, it will sprout from underground, tuberous roots.  This is a very large vine, so it will need a lot of room.  It is ideal for covering fences and screens rapidly.

Light: Full sun, part shade.  There will be less flowers in part shade.

Water: Moderate.

Soil: A wide range of soil, but it must be well-drained.

Fertilizer: A slow-release, bloom-booster type fertilizer is appreciated, but beware of using a fertilizer with too much nitrogen as it may push leaves at the expense of flowers.

Hardiness: Zone 8 or lower in a sheltered site.
