The most striking feature of the Alocasia Polly is its foliage. The large, dark green leaves are glossy and have a distinct, almost-metallic sheen. The leaf shape is unique, resembling an arrowhead or a stylized mask, with ruffled or undulating edges. What makes it particularly special are the bold, silvery-white veins that pop against the dark leaf surface, creating a stunning visual contrast. The undersides of the leaves are often a purplish-burgundy color, adding to its dramatic appeal..
The Alocasia Polly is a moderate to fast-growing plant under ideal conditions. Its growth is often characterized by a "tuber-like" growth pattern, where it will sprout new leaves from the base, and old leaves may die off.

The Alocasia Polly requires bright, indirect light to thrive. Too much direct sun can scorch its delicate leaves, while too little light will cause it to become leggy and lose its vibrant coloration.
Water when the top 2-3 inches of soil are dry to the touch. The plant is sensitive to both overwatering and underwatering. It prefers consistently moist but not soggy soil.
Use a well-draining, airy, and rich potting mix. A blend of potting soil, perlite, and orchid bark is an ideal combination. This type of mix allows for good drainage while retaining enough moisture.
The Alocasia Polly thrives in warm temperatures, ideally between 65°F and 80°F (18°C - 27°C).

MUST read! Best pregnancy book so far and I'm in my 3rd trimester.

I cannot put into words how quickly I absolutely INHALED this book! I haven't done that since I was a teenager! It was midnight before I realized I had blown through the first 3rd of the book. I finished it the next morning cause I could NOT put it down. I audibly laughed and cried (in a good way) and felt the most seen I have felt my entire pregnancy (this is my 1st). I felt like I was reading my own diary and am having my husband read it next so he can understand what I haven't been able to put into words for him these last 6 months. My favorite parts were reading Daryl's takes on situations and how much of a team he and Meghan have been since day one. My husband and I felt like we have been doing things "wrong" cause he's been so involved and he really hasn't felt like he could relate or talk with most of his male friends cause they still perpetuate the typical, hands off male role. If I could personally thank and hug Meghan for sharing her story, I would. Thanks bestie ;)

Such a good book!

I really enjoyed this! I felt at ease and so much more calmer about pregnant . Megan wrote this book so well and in a way that makes you feel like you’re in a safe space and like you’re talking to a friend . It’s raw, it’s real, it’s funny and so honest.

Eh. It was ok. Good for a laugh not for realistic expectations

The book was alright. I appreciated the jokes and style of writing, like a GenZ approach. She’s obviously very funny! However it’s written by a celebrity with massive amounts of money. While she acknowledges her privilege, it felt like a filler line. She goes on and on about out of touch items she had during her pregnancy which really rubbed me the wrong way. I appreciated her chapter on infertility and fertility treatments. Overall I guess I’m glad I bought it and read it. It made me feel a little less lonely. But not something I’d recommend to a friend.
