Growing Tips

Most of these herbs prefer well-drained soil and a sunny to partly sunny location. Start seeds indoors 6 to 8 weeks before your last frost date, or direct sow after frost risk has passed. Chamomile and lemon balm germinate readily from surface sowing since they need light to sprout. Keep soil consistently moist during germination.
