Description

allspice seeds for planting Allspice Tree (Jamaica Pepper)You can experience Allspice's warm flavors in cuisines around the world from Jamaica to Europe to the Middle East. The taste of the small, brown fruit will remind you of cinnamon, clove, black pepper, and nutmeg put together in one spice jar hence the perfectly penned name but it is one single spice. While Allspice is also called Jamaica pepper, myrtle pepper, pimenta, and pimento, none of those names does justice for its inclusive array of flavors.

You can experience Allspice's warm flavors in cuisines around the world from Jamaica to Europe to the Middle East. The taste of the small, brown fruit will remind you of cinnamon, clove, black pepper, and nutmeg put together in one spice jar--hence the perfectly-penned name--but it is one single spice. While Allspice is also called Jamaica pepper, myrtle pepper, pimenta, and pimento, none of those names does justice for its inclusive array of flavors. The Latin name supposedly stemmed from Christopher Columbus mistaking it for black pepper and therefore penning it as "Pimenta" from the Spanish word for Pepper.

If your palate isn't up for venturing around the world, you'll still recognize Allspice's hints in American classics, too. Think sweater weather; allspice is all you need for those warm, aromatic baked goods, Thanksgiving hams, and creamy soups we all love in the fall. Allspice is a slow-growing evergreen tree that can reach anywhere between 20-40 feet and has beautiful white flowers. You can catch whiffs of the pleasant aroma from the blooms and from its crushed leaves and bark. Allspice makes a great houseplant in freezing climates and a great outdoor plant in warmer zones. Established plants can withstand temperatures up to 28 degrees Fahrenheit.

Good value and quality.
Style: Tuggi Hide
Great for sports dog and building drive. This isn’t a chew toy to let a dog shred. I have big dogs that love to tug, and this has held up to a huge amount of use with high drivey dogs.

Good quality! Great reward for my search and rescue dogs!
Style: Tuggi Ball
My dogs love this! The bungee makes it easier on my shoulder and my dog enjoys it a lot. Super lightweight which is important for taking it on searches. Holds up to my intense working dog’s tug sessions *note that it is an interactive toy not a chew toy. Probably wouldn’t last long if you just give it to them to play on their own but perfect for a good game of tug

Fun for a short while
Style: Chase & Crinkle, Style: Chase & Crinkle
4 month old GSD puppy loved this toy but it did not last long before getting a whole in the crinkle part. I even limited the amount of play my dog had with it so I could increase the value of the toy to use it for distractions.

Not for low food-drive dogs
Style: Chase & Treat
Not the right toy for us but maybe for others. Seems durable and is on the more affordable side. However, the Velcro is so strong that it’s difficult and/or uncomfortable for our dog to open it. May be better suited for a more food-driven dog.

Multi variant review!
Style: Tuggi Ball
Coachi Tuggi Ball - Great handle, ball is too big for puppies for sure and unsure on how about the hardness, it is hard, like a hard styrofoam Chase and Krinkle - excellent, buy. Soft for puppies to latch on and the fur plus krinkle keeps them super engaged. Great handle too. Length, you can play with Felt tugs are good too. These have been good minus the ball tug lulz
