Bear USA was founded in the early 1990s, originally producing outerwear and cold weather garments inspired by the growing streetwear culture across the states at the time. This particular piece is one of the most eye-catching produced by the brand and is an excellent example of design referencing, as this takes very obvious inspiration from Massimo Osti’s C.P. Company. The jacket uses the exact same goggle mask system used by Osti on a variations of the 1988 Mille Miglia jackets, which inspired the design team at Bear USA who saw the potential to use this on a ski jacket with a full face covering and built-in mirrored-lenses. The system was references again by C.P. Company on the 2003 Arctic Explorer jackets. The goggles can be secured to the side of the hood when not in use or zipped over the face and secured to the top of the hood.

good condition with some fading and minor signs of wear flaws - some minor wear on lenses that does not impact vision.
