A meeting of the minds, the Obstructures x EAE Bass Driver is Christmas morning for fans of beloved vintage Canadian bass amplifiers or either company involved. Falling in line with their previous collaboration, this sleek, clean, and blissfully simple pedal punches in for a unique effect experience spurred on by the pair's effect expertise.

The front face of this collaboration features four sliders: Volume, Gain, Bass, and Attack. Highly interactive with one another, these controls are precise and expressive for getting to the heart of your own thunderous bass mixes. In the event you're not looking to blow the doors down, Obstructures and Electronic Audio Experiments have you covered there, too. While the Bass Driver's Volume slider can get very (very) loud alongside the Drive slider's fifty decibels of maximum passband gain, this pedal also has a softer, more considered side that can be rolled in with accompanying Bass and Attack controls. Getting into the closest of characters with the Bass Driver is deceptively easy, though of course, the capacity for disaster (driven by a formidable burst of volume on tap perhaps) is always afoot.

As a barebones ode to bass amplification's greatest, this collaboration between Obstructures and Electronic Audio Experiments proves once again that teamwork makes the dream work, or great minds think alike, or any number of those kinds of platitudes that you can imagine. In any case, it's a knockout.

Fits in a standard tape dispenser
Number of Items: 12
First of all, I like the width of this tape when I don't need the full width of standard 20mm. It's great for delicate projects and minimizing taping over two-sided sublimations like keychains. There's just enough adhesion and it comes off cleanly so it does the job. If you don't need the full width of 20mm, this is a great value. For those looking for a compatible dispenser, these rolls fit into a standard weighted Scotch tape base like the C-38. There will be room around the core because these rolls have a larger diameter, and room on either side because the rolls are thinner than standard Scotch tape, but once you pull the tape onto the blade, the roll remains taut and it's easy to remove pieces of your desired length with one hand.
