The Best
Format: Kindle
Every time I read this commentary, I get into the state of thinking that fills me with love for the complexity and intricacy of Godβs word. The author finds parallels, delves into languages carefully but not exhaustively, and he also deals well with alternate viewpoints. He is so fair with other views that I often draw great benefit from them. To me, these are all hallmarks of a great commentary.

Beyond expectations
Format: Hardcover
Hands down, this is the best commentary I have read on 1&2 Thessalonians. Weima takes the reader deep into the First Century world covering everything that would have influenced the recipients as well as the sender of these letters. The research on its own is phenomenal.
