Incredibly chic ivory white waffle-cotton skater mini dress from Azzedine Alaia's 1990 spring/summer collection. This dress is so iconic and would be a wonderful beach resort or bridal look! Alaïa introduced the world to the 'body' and to his own skin tight dresses. Truly a showcase for the perfect human form, his bodycon look sat alongside the more masculine power suits of the decade. It is made from a mid-weight waffle textured pique cotton in the prettiest ivory white color. I love the sleeveless low scooped back hourglass bodice design. The mini skirt construction has complex invent pleating which gives the dress a wonderful rich weight and unforgettable movement. There are even hidden side pockets! As with all Azzedine Alaia pieces, this dress is cut to highlight your every curve. Such a flattering and timeless look.

This 1990 Alaia designer dress is in beautiful condition with no noticeable rips, holes or alternations. Garment closes with original back center zipper. Only sign of wear is some very minor overall age yellowing to the cotton which is not noticeable when worn. A wearable investment piece that will continue to increase in value.

Glowy but not sure about the spf

My first impression was that this works more like a basic body shimmer than anything else. The Glistening Bronze shade gives a noticeable glow, especially on arms and shoulders. It spreads easily and adds a warm shimmer in the light, but the overall effect feels pretty simple and more cosmetic than skincare focused. In use, the oil blends in smoothly and feels lightweight on the skin. It does leave a bit of moisture behind, similar to a light body oil, and the shimmer shows up well outdoors. The bronze tone is fairly deep, so it seems better suited for medium to darker skin tones or anyone who wants a stronger bronzed glow.
