Looks excellent overall though the suede-look vinyl trim has flocking loss where rubbed, and it is hardened from the lapels to the front waist, this area would likely crack if bent hard, the rest of the trim is not hardened

Warm hand wash, no agitation, shape and dry flat, steam if needed (do not steam or heat the vinyl); or dry clean

Squeaker inside toy breaks after 2 days

Bought for my 8 lb chihuahua for Christmas. I have 3 little girls. The youngest loves her toys and of course she took this one over immediately. She just loved everything about it. The material on the gator is amazingly durable and I believe would hold up for a good while. The squeaker inside the toy however, broke after 2 days of my girl playing with it. It's now a noiseless toy that she does not like too much as it does not squeak because it only had the one squeaker in it.
I would recommend that 2 squeakers be inserted into this gator. I would not purchase again due to the longevity of the squeaker...only lasted 2 days.

Excellent toy for smaller breed puppies

My 10 week old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel puppy is obsessed with this toy. It is great for teething, tug, fetch. Pup can’t get enough of it and it is small enough for his mouth to play pretty aggressively and carry, soft enough for his teeth and a nice length of rope. It IS less tough than other Kong brand toys so I imagine it probably isn’t a great option for bigger or tougher breed puppies. But it’s a rare and wonderful find for the smaller breeds. After realizing how enamored my pup is with it, I ordered more of them.

perfect for tiny breeds!
