Crafted from a durable wool blend in the Corps’ signature midnight blue, the coat features a high mandarin collar and a distinctive red piping that outlines the front closure, collar, and cuffs—hallmarks of Marine dress blues. This coat is tailored for a sharp, commanding fit and includes seven gold-plated buttons engraved with the Eagle, Globe, and Anchor, symbolizing the Marine Corps' values. The coat is worn with a white belt for enlisted Marines (Staff NCOs and above may wear a black Sam Browne belt), and chevrons are affixed to the sleeves to indicate rank.
