The Vanity Midi Dress from Rumored distills femininity into its most essential form. A deep V-neckline and open back rendered in metallic satin (woven from viscose and rayon), softened by a sheer lace yoke positioned at the waist. This is the dress for feeling airy, feminine, and quietly unforgettable.

Constructed from 58% viscose and 42% rayon in a metallic satin finish, this midi dress features strategic lining (100% nylon) that supports and flatters. The construction exploits the satin's bias cut to create movement that follows the body's own geometry; a V-neck plunges with intention while the open back reveals skin with studied casualness. The sheer lace yoke at the waist provides a breath of visual texture, with picot lace trim edging the neckline, straps, and hem. At $188, this dress occupies the space where special-occasion dressing meets everyday accessibility. The bias cut means fabric drapes rather than clings, and the open back makes this unsuitable for many conventional undergarments.

  • Materials: 58% Viscose, 42% Rayon (metallic satin) with 100% nylon lining
  • Construction/Fit: V-neck, lace yoke at waist, bias cut, exposed back, picot lace trim throughout
  • Fit: Model is wearing size XS. Fits true to size.
  • Care: Dry Clean Only
  • Price: $188

Wear this to a spring wedding where you want to feel exceptional without looking overdressed, or to evening occasions where structure feels less important than presence. The ivory and metallic sheen reads sophisticated rather than glittering. Pair with warm-toned jewelry and let your skin be the focal point. The open back means hairstyles matter here; an updo reveals the design's architecture, while waves allow fabric and hair to play against each other. This dress demands confidence and rewards it with genuine elegance.

This is a supplemental reading to assist with your understanding of dialectical materialism. I strongly suggest you read this with Socialism: Scientific and Utopian by Engels if you wish to have a conceptual understanding of dialectical materialism without going through massive tomes by other authors. Stalin writes fairly straightforward, and he covers a basic introduction of what dialectical and historical materialism are and how they work.

definitive and final statement
This is the definitive and final statement on marxian dialectical materialism. The best concise exposition that has been written on the subject.

I'd recommend it, especially at this give-away-price
As a sociologist, I was always interested as to how the USSR could morph what Marx considered communalism networked by a shallow, weak, centralized and supposedly representative government into what I would considered an extremest left-wing oligarchy (most fashionably consider it right-wing despite how it was sold and supported by the people that allowed it- so much for cultural relativity and in context social analysis!). If Stalin actually wrote these pieces (or more commonly among dictators farmed it out to a frightened academic ghostwriter) then it could help explain why Marx disassociated himself with much of the Marxist movement toward the end of his life. It is a logically written and well informed book - worth the read if you are into the sociology of politics, philosophy of politics or the history of politics. I'd recommend it, especially at this give-away-price!
