The fabric is not very thick yet it is not very breathable either. The shirt is lightweight but not much of a breeze flows through the shirt. It is for work and I did not want to spend a ton of money on a shirt that may get ruined or messed up. So far it is holding up quite well and I foresee it being durable for years if I take care of it. It is cotton or feels like cotton which is nice because it is getting more difficult to find a shirt which is not some type of synthetic fabric. It will keep you warm on chillier days but there is a good chance you could be overheated on the warmer days.
