For this pattern, I recommend medium-weight knit fabrics with drape, horizontal stretch and recovery, such as viscose, bamboo or Tencel™, wool jersey, silk jersey, interlock, milano or sweater knits.

I am 5'3 (1m60) and I wear the blue sweater knit and the black lurex jersey in size 34 with no modifications.
